Ok, you have only ONE m.2 slot, correct? 
 
If it were me, this is what I would do.
1. Get an external USB HDD, and a USB STICK
2. Download your favorite backup software
3. Install the backup software on win 10 on your 128gb
4. Using the backup software, create a recovery u*** stick for the backup software (this will put the recovery tools on the u*** stick)
5. Plug in the USB HDD and, using the backup software on W10, create an image on the USB HDD
6. Shutdown
7. remove the 128gb and put it away for safe keeping.
8. install the 500gb
9. Plug in the USB STICK
10.  Plug in the USB HDD(should already be plugged in)
11.  Boot the USB STICK.
12. Using the backup software recovery tools on the stick, restore the image on the USB HDD to the 500GB
13. Shutdown
14. unplug the USB STICK and USB HDD.
15. Boot
 
You should now be running W10, with all your files and data from the 128gb, on the 500gb.
 
Now, I am not recommending the following software for backup and recovery.  There are many products from which to choose.  I happen to use Macrium Reflect.  You can find the free version here.
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free   Click on "home use" on the left side.  Registration is your option.

Hopefully, I have not missed any steps.  Just think about the process of doing this first.  Ask questions before you begin.
 
You should now be running W10, with all your files and data from the 128gb, on the 500gb.
 
Think about this, make sure you have the proper backup software, a good u*** stick, a good u*** hdd with adequate space for the image, and take your time.

To use the magician software, you need a way to connect both of the M.2 SSDs to the system at the same time. For SATA-based M.2 SSDs, this can be accomplished with an M.2 to USB adapter. This cannot be done if the two SSDs are NVMe drives, however. In this case, you have to migrate from the old M.2 SSD to a SATA HDD and then migrate back from the SATA HDD to the new M.2 SSD.
